Share your songs and music with us on one of our Folk Cruises along Swansea's River Tawe.  Once the heart of the world's copper trade, Swansea became known as 'Copperopolis', and the Tawe was its main artery.

Now a major heritage area full of social history, a perfect setting for traditional music making.

We're sorry, but ...

due to circumstances beyond our control, there will be no more Copper Folk cruises for the forseeable future.  Everything has its time, and this was ours. Thank you for your support.

Swansea Copper Folk is run by Andrew McKay & Carole Etherton, aboard the river cruiser Copper Jack.

All aboard are welcome to sing, play, recite or listen during the trip, which lasts about 90 minutes.

Copper Jack is licenced for live music and the sale of alcohol. Light refreshments are also available.

Copper Jack is run by the Swansea Community Boat Trust, a registered charity.

Sorry but ...

no more Copperfolk Cruises for now. Thanks for your support & understanding

We may hold irregular 'Copperfolk Ashore' music meetings from time to time. We'll keep you posted.
