Copper Jack

The boat Copper Jack is run by the Swansea Community Boat Trust, a registered charity.  It was built for the Trust in 2013 to replace their earlier boat Black Prince. The boat cabin is enclosed and heated for year-round comfort.  Nevertheless, extreme weather conditions can make it impossible to sail.

Copper Jack is licenced for live music, and also for the sale of alcohol.  Bottled beers are available from local breweries, especially the Mumbles Brewery.  Wine by the glass is also available, as well as tea, coffee and other beverages.

The boat will be open for boarding about 15 minutes before departure.  Please note that, because we need to arrange opening of the lock gates to exit the Marina, departure cannot be delayed.  Get there in plenty of time, or you've literally missed the boat

Copper Jack sails from the Victoria Quay jetty in Swansea Marina, near the National Waterfront Museum - postcode SA1 3XA.  Most Council-run parking in Swansea is free on Sundays.  The nearest are St David's multi-storey (SA1 3LQ), East Burrows Road (SA1 1RR) and Pocketts Wharf (SA1 3XL).

We're sorry but, due to unavoidable changes, we will no longer be running Copper Folk cruises aboard the boat. Thank you for your support.
